Well, this surely is not a coincidence. I must say this piece of art is the only one that intrigues me the most. I searched for it on the internet and a coworker stopped at my desk and said, "Yeah, so what! He has an apple in front of his face!". That is the initial observation - a big green apple in front of a person's face. How annoying is that! The artist, Rene Magritte did define that the painting represents man's ability to perceive things not as they are. When you actually take the time to look passed the apple you get to see a lot of things and the picture starts to take on more meaning.
Think that about the people you encounter everyday. That is my PSA for today.
Check out facereplaced.blogspot.com it's pretty fun!
Enjoy!

Ummmm, looking 'pass' the apple and what I see to the left is a little scarey! Is that an eye?
ReplyDeleteStill looking. Interesting concept.
